But when he came to know Jesus Christ, he pursued the Christian life with great zeal. Within a few years he had a successful ministry that ultimately left him feeling empty, burned out, and, once again, far away from God. In this intimate, soul-searching account, Miller describes his remarkable journey back to a culturally relevant, infinitely loving God.

All month we pondered the Scriptures on the subject of faith. Truly Our God is faithful and worth putting our trust and hope in. To end this month, here are some basics of faith: What is faith? Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Why do we need faith? Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Where do you stand on the issue of faith? 2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test? Mark 11:22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. Let’s pray that God would increase our faith (Luke 17:5) so that we could be pleasing to Him and able to receive His rewards as we seek his face. Have a wonderful week! Hope to see you Tuesday March 29th!

PWOC WILL NOT MEET DURING SPRING BREAK – 14 MARCH – 25 MARCH. BRAND NEW CLASSES WILL START UP ON 29 MARCH.

Play Date at Doe Park!

March 15 will be a play date at Doe Park 9:30-11:30 – weather permitting.

The playground is off of 15th Infantry Road. Head down Gigling and take a left or a right on 15th infantry, depending on the direction you are coming from. Follow the road around and you will come to the playground!

Teacher Training

March 15 at Ord Community Chapel from 9-11.

***Watchcare Appreciation Month!***

March is going to be Watchcare Appreciation Month. We will have little bags set up each week in March for you to bless our incredible watchcare staff! It doesn’t have to be anything big: a muffin for each of them, $5 gift cards, or even a simple note of thanks (notecards will be out next to the bags). These ladies spend close to 3 hours each Tuesday with your child. Let them know how much you appreciate them.

PWOC Women’s Retreat

Mark your calenders for the PWOC Women’s Retreat! It will be 29, 30 April 2011. Our speaker will be Victoria Robinson! She will help us get to the heart of words via scripture. We will have sign up sheets going around for volunteers for different committees (welcoming, hospitality, praise/worship) for the retreat. Be praying about where the Lord wants you to help!

Offering

Ord Community Chapel has been very good to PWOC this year, helping us out with cost of books and childcare. In order to help offset these costs, we have offering baskets on the tables each week. Whether you can donate $1 or $100, anything helps and the chapel certainly appreciates it. Pray about what you are able to give back to PWOC this year.

PWOC Spirit Days

We have spirit, yes we do. We have spirit; how about you??
